Crocheted cloches

Some hats I made earlier with leftovers from my stash. The red yarn is Rowan Magpie; the purpe-black yarn a bulky acrylic blend.

I dig snow

It's snowing again. I should really be clearing a path to our frontdoor and mailbox, but then I'll have to put on my stone cold wellingtons... brrr. I could just get them from the hallway and pre-warm them a bit first. Not too close to the oven: don't want a melting-rubbery smell in the living room... That will also give me a little more time to mess with my blog template, can't make up my mind about that. And time to build a new glittering sidebar doll!
This morning I visited the 'World Carrot Museum', 'The Collection of Found Grocery Lists' and 'Das Virtuelle Lederhosen Museum' (See museum link in sidebar). Really inspiring.
Ok, boots are warm. Bye!

Spider woman

Finished a lace scarf today, my 'own' design (borrowed edging from "A Gathering Of Lace" and middle part from a basic knitting book). I am so glad that it's done: I started to feel like a giant spider...

Selbu for my chimp

Knitted some new gloves from Raumagarn's booklet "Selbustrikk". The ones on the right turned out quite 'gothic'. The pair on the left are knitted in 'authentic' colours.

And this one. Used Tvinni Yarn from Isager.
'Designed' my own crocheted mohair scarf. Just some squares crocheted together, with a nice picot edging. Not very warm though...
