Shawl with clover edging

Made from 610 meters (3.2 skeins) of Sandnes Mandarin Petit cotton yarn, colourway 1002, using a 5.0 mm hook for the main part and a 4.0 mm hook for the edging.

A japanese pattern called "Crescent Moon Shawl" by Mayumi Kawai, from the book "Easy crochet, complete in 3 days!". It was a fun and quick project. Very soft!

I love all of your crochet work, especially the shawls! I'm a bit of a shawl junkie. I wish more of the patterns were available here in the U.S. so I could make them.

I enjoyed looking through your blog.

This may be a dumb question but since the book is Japanese does it have patterns in Engligh??

Most Japanese crochet patterns have diagrams, like the ones on this site: www.mypicot.com. If you know what the stitch symbols stand for, they're easy to understand!
