Wheel Patterned Mittens
I saw a red and white version of these mittens on Ravelry and got the urge to make a pair like that for myself. In the Estonian knitting tradition this is called a wheel pattern, but I think the wheels look more like suns or flowers.
I took this project with me on a little hiking trip close to my home and will share the view I had while knitting:
The lady on the right was not interested in yarn crafts but in sandwiches.
Pattern: "Kristi's Mittens" from "Folk Knitting in Estonia" by Nancy Bush.
These are knitted on 2.0 mm needles with Dale of Norway/Dalegarn Baby Ull, colourway #0010 and #4018, one skein of each colour.
